Bio

Hello! This is Anantaa!

I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Computer Science at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, working with Dr. Anupam Joshi in the Ebiquity lab.

My research statement is "Privacy Preserving Data Synthesis using Generative Models." My research is on Data Privacy and Privacy Policy Enforcement. I am trying to come up with novel ways to make data shareable for public use, while keeping your personal information secure.

I work in Data Generation with Generative Models, Generative Adversarial Networks, etc. I am also experienced in Information Extraction and Knowledge Representation using Knowledge Graphs.

I am currently also a Course Instructor at UMBC; teaching CMSC 471: Intro to AI.

I was a Cybersecurity PhD intern at IBM for Summer 2021 and 2022. Before that, I worked as a Software Development Engineer for Amazon Development Centre, India. I have used deep learning and machine learning techniques for fraud and security risk analyis and security policy creation and enforcement.

Follow me on github to find out more about my work.
